Steatoda triangulosa C. A. Walckenaer, 1802
Theridiidae
The triangulate cobweb spider (Steatoda triangulosa) is a common, small house spider which is easily identified by the distinct zigzag pattern on its bulbous abdomen. It builds an irregular web in corners and preys on other arthropods (ants, small spiders, and small woodlice) caught in its web.
