Description: Small agaric 35mm high, solitary, on soil with leaf litter.
Pileus: Convex to slightly umbonate, brown (to olivaceous-brown) darkening towards the centre, with shallow striations on the incurved margin, dry; diameter 10mm.
Stipe: Pale yellowish brown darkening towards the base (to greenish hues), diameter <1mm without ring, velar remains or volva.
Gills: Adnexed, close, initially cream coloured.
Spore print: Fulvous.

Microscopy:

Cheilocystidia: Present, fusiform, abundant visible with hand lens.
Spores: Yellow brown in colour, pip shaped, without germ pore, smooth; L= 6.7-8.0µm, W = 5.6-6.6µm, Q=1.12-1.35, Qm=1.21
