Description: Small agaric, solitary, on carob tree
leaf litter.
Pileus: Conical to flat, dry, smooth but with some
cracking on the surface near the middle, drab
beige with a darker colour in the centre; diameter
22mm wide; velar remnants absent. Stipe: White, straight thickening slightly towards
the base, smooth; 3mm diameter, 35mm in height. Gills: Free, close to crowded, cream to pale pink
in colour, l=1-3. Spore print: Pale pink-brown.
Microscopy: Pileipellis: Cellular with internal pigment and with
a lower layer of interwoven hyphae. Basidia: 4-spored. Gill trama: Convergent made up of large hyphae Cheilocystidia: Present as large inflated cells. Pleurocystidia: Abundant, inflated cells. Spores: Globular to ellipsoid, smooth to rough
without germ pore; 5.6-6.5µm x 6.8-8.4µm,
