Pholiotina vestita (Fr.) Singer, 1936
Description: Small sized agarics, gregarious, on soil, close to Coprinellus disseminatus, under Laurus nobilis.
Pileus: Convex to flattened with small central umbo in some specimens, dark bown coloured centrally but paler (honey coloured) towards the margin, smooth with white velar remnants on margin, setae or hairs absent; diameter 3.5-11mm.
Stipe: Cylindrical, straight, dark brown coloured, pruinose with fibrils visible in some specimens, hollow centrally; ring absent but velar remnants present near the apex in young specimens; 10-30mm x 1-2mm.
Gills: Adnate with decurrent tooth, close to distant with lamellulae (l=3-4), evenly coloured rust brown.
Spore print: Fulvous (rust brown).

Microscopy:
Basidia: 2- & 4-spored with long sterigmata.
Pileipellis: Irregular filamentous hyphal layer (cutis) with intermediate globular cells heavily encrusted and a lower layer of interwoven hyphae.
Cheilocystidia: Uncommon - clavate to skittle-shaped.
Pleurocystidia: Absent.
Stipitipellis: Clamp connections present, caulocystidia few from hyphae perpendicular to structural hyphae.
Gill Trama: Subregular to irregular inflated hyphae.
Spores: Pale yellow brown, ellipsoid with a central oil drop, smooth, thin walled and without germ pore. 7.2-9.0µm x 4.5-6.1µm, Q= 1.40-1.73, Qm: 1.55
