Lepidocyrtus paradoxus is a small arthropod member of the collembola (spring tails). It is found in leaf litter or on mushrooms (in this case a Psathyrella melanthina). Members of Collembola have six legs and a furca (springtail) which is used to lauch the specie for a distance to escape predation.
