The tobacco beetle (Lasioderma serricorne) is a pest of tobacco products and ocassionally cereals and flour. The beetle is considered a pest and can damage several products both is storage facilities as well as in homes. The adults generally do not feed and die within a few weeks, but not before laying a fresh batch of eggs for the next generation of beetles.
