Description: Solitary to scattered, small to medium sized waxy caps, on leaf litter under Laurus nobilis.
Pileus: Broadly convex to flat with irregular shape, pale yellow in colour, viscid, splitting irregularly at the margins, striated; 19-26mm.
Stipe: Straight, fragile (splitting longitudinally), yellow in colour, dry, hollow centrally, rather flattish (not rounded); 6-8mm 'diameter', 29-50mm height.
Gills: Free to adnexed, white to pale yellow, medium crowded to distant, thick.
Spore print: White.

Microscopy:
Pileipellis: Filamentous, with external crystals, clamps present.
Basidia: 4-spored.
Gill trama: Regular.
Cheilocystidia: Absent.
Pleurocystidia: Absent.
Caulocystidia: Absent, several crystal seen externally on hyphae.
Spores: Ellipsoid, hyaline, inamyloid, rough; 10.1-15.3µm x 5.6-8.7µm, Q=1.37-1.84, Qm=1.65
