Description: Solitary to scattered, medium sized
waxy caps, on soil and leaf litter under broad leaf
tree. Pileus: Acute convex to convex with irregular
shape, yellow in colour, smooth but sticky,
splitting; 35-40mm. Stipe: Straight, eccentric to roughly central,
fragile (splitting longitudinally), pale yellow in
colour but white near base, viscid, rather flattish
(not rounded), slight darkening on handling,
fibrillose; 7-9mm 'diameter', 33-35mm height. Gills: Free, white to yellow, medium crowded to
distant, thick.
Microscopy: Pileipellis: Filamentous. Basidia: 2-, 3- & 4-spored. Gill trama: Regular, thin hyphae. Cheilocystidia: Absent. Pleurocystidia: Absent. Caulocystidia: Absent but several hyphae
present on top of structural hyphae. Spores: Ellipsoid, hyaline, rough; 9.9-12.5µm x
5.6-7.9µm, Q=1.52-2.04, Qm=1.76
