The Bryony ladybird (Henosepilachna argus) is a large ladybird which is found on Ecbalium elaterium, though H. elaterii which is more common. Henosepilachna elaterii can be distinguished from the related H. argus by the larger size of its spots, paler colour around spots and the separate first two dorsal spots (fused in H. argus).
