Gymnopus androsaceus (L.) Mata & Petersen, 2004
Description: Gregarious, very small sized agarics, on Olive tree leaves. Several specimens present showing only the stipe.
Pileus:Convex, chocolate brown with dark brown (almost black) centre with yellow brown base colour, smooth, dry, plicate; up to 1.5mm diameter.
Stipe: Straight, very thin and long, black, very tough to cut; < 0.5mm diameter, up to 25mm height.
Gills: Cream coloured, distant, free.

Microscopy:
Pileipellis: Globular cells with external pigment deposit.
Cheilocystidia: ?Papillate.
Pleurocystidia: ?Papillate.
Spores: Amygdaliform to ellipsoid, hyaline, smooth; 6.6-9.7µm x 4.2-5.9µm, Q=1.48-2.00, Qm=1.75
