Lyncaenidae
The Geranium Bronze (Cacyreus marshalli) is a small invasive butterfly. It has been introduced in Europe from South Africa. The larvae feed on cultivated geranium (Pelargonium sp.) and cause significant damage as the stems are hollowed out. The butterfly is brownish in colour with white edge. Two thin 'tails' are present at the lower part of the wings.
