Argiope lobata Pallas, 1772
Araneidae
The Lobulated orb-weaver (Argiope lobata) is a large spider which is easy to identify due to its large size. The male is much smaller than the female and has a pale band centrally and without lobulations. The web has characteristic zig-zag patterns typical of orb-weavers.
