Anacamptis collina(Banks & Sol. ex Russell) R.M.Bateman, Pridgeon & M.W.Chase
Anacamptis collina is a small common orchid found in garigue and maquis areas amongst grass. Flowering is around
February and the small flowers are fairy constant in their appearance. The leaves are thin and elliptical. The
pollinating insect is the honey bee Apis mellifera. This species is easy to identify in the field.
